| The Steps To Finding Your "SHAPE" |
You can download each section of your SHAPE Packet from this website, pick up a copy at the church office, or we can send you one in
the mail, then complete as much of the Packet as you can. We recommend completing the "Spiritual Gifts" section on one day and the other
sections on another day. There are no right or wrong answers and this is not a test. It is simply a tool to help raise awareness and reveal
your unique "SHAPE" for ministry.

Ministry Involvement tool stimulates reflection on experience, not just potential. It encourages you to think of both formal and informal
service. If You Could Create Your Own Ministry encourages you to creatively reflect on how your gifts could be used if there were no
barriers. Some people are very conservative and have problems thinking this broadly. Others think so creatively that they have little sense
of application. This tool is designed to expand our horizons and encourage us to dream. Practical application can come later in discussions
with the class, group, or mentor. The Performance Style Questionnaire helps you see how you can work as part of a team. This
reflects past experience as well as the role you will play on future ministry teams. It also gives insights into how people relate to spouses,
children, and other relationships. Gifts And Ministries Interest Guide enlightens you about the options for service that are available.

We try to offer CLASS 301 four times throughout the year, usually on a Sunday afternoon/evening including dinner. It usually runs about
three or four hours long. We strongly encourage this "Small Group Process" of discovering your unique place in ministry. You'll bring your
completed SHAPE Packet (see below), and perhaps the Assessment Tools and Personality Profile as well. We hope to embark on a thrilling
adventure of personal discovery!
