We're excited about your visit to this site and hope you'll catch the wonderful Spirit of Spring Lake.
Even more, we hope you'll visit us in the beautiful countryside near Brooksville, Florida. We are
located about three miles from Highway 50 and just minutes from I-75.

We sometimes refer to Spring Lake United Methodist as an "ancient-future" church because we have a
deep, rich theological and experiential "history" in Christ Jesus. This has become the very foundation
upon which we stand, as well as a clear "vision" of what God is calling us to BE and to DO within our
growing community and changing culture.

Visitors to Spring Lake experience a church that is down-to-earth and is seeking a real relationship with
God as revealed in Christ Jesus and the power of the Holy Spirit. We desire to cooperate with the

This gathering meets in the Chapel and enjoys worshiping with the hymns of the past led by a
wonderful choir. You'll find the people in this simple service overflowing with hospitality and friendliness.

Traditional Service - Sunday 8:15 am

This gathering is led by a full band in the Praise Center and creates an atmosphere where everyone is
comfortable. There are many generations, families, and guests attending this service.

Springs Praise Service - Sunday 9:30 am

This gathering meets in the Chapel with a tempo that is a little more upbeat than the traditional service.
This service is attended by more of our seniors and a growing blend of the younger generations.

Kids from K through 5th grade meet for a very participatory and creative worship service.

Kids Korral - Sunday 9:30 am

The Kingdom Café is available in the Lobby of the Praise Center all morning on Sundays for
coffee and light refreshments.

Nursery is available in the Education Building for both Infants and Toddlers ages 0-3 during
all services.

You'll also discover that we encourage the use of paper name tags for everyone, as this
often makes it more natural and easier to build relationships. Please know that we'll never
put you on the spot publicly, nor will we compel you to speak in public.

The message is essentially the same in each of the services, and the biblical text is taught
or preached most often in an expository (verse by verse, or passage by passage) style. We
try to communicate visually as much as possible, using multimedia and the visual arts
appropriately.

Children in Pre-K through 5th grade gather for a hands-on encounter with various biblical themes.
